Ruth Laxton has been operating the learning design consultancy R. L. Learning Designs since 1995.

The consultancy has provided learning design services to a wide range of organisations including government departments, universities and the corporate sector.

Ruth has been working in the education industry since 1985. After seven years teaching adults, she then chose to specialise in instructional design. Ruth has a post graduate qualification in Instructional Design from Deakin University.

Ruth Laxton is a member of Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia.
