MASTER OF ANIMAL BREEDING MANAGEMENT

In 2005 Ruth Laxton began working with the Faculties of Veterinary Science at the University of Sydney and the University of New England to develop a new online postgraduate coursework program, based on the successful model used in the Veterinary Public Health Management program.

The two universities are collaborating to develop an online postgraduate program in Animal Breeding Management (ABMgt), a global first in combining animal breeding and management training via postgraduate online coursework. The program aims to produce graduates who will contribute to industry as influential professionals in animal breeding, animal genetics and management. The first students enrolled in 2007.
